RaidMobMarker (2.7)

This tool provides quick and easy raid target setting. The symbolbar is scalable and moveable. You can set description (like sheep, tank,..) and assign symbols to player.

For more information visit RaidMobMarker_Homepage

Kind of use:

Open settings window and assign description to symbol.
Target a player and right klick on a symbol in the symbolbar to assign a player to the symbol.
While raiding select the target to mark these. Left klick on a symbol in the symbolbar.

more information

Features:

On Mouseover the icons you can see the assigned player and descriptions of it
Changeable order of Symbols
Raidleader can propagate to set assigned targets. The assigned players must have RaidMobMarker installed and allow remote control.
Set assigned players as MTs (CT_RAID, oRA2 supported)

Slash commands:

/rmm show/hide toolbar
/rmm help show all slash commands
/rmm mark 1-8 sets mark to current target (useful for use within macros)
...

(alternative use /raidmobmarker instead)
Use the help command for the complete list. Also have a look at the Keybindings for RaidMobMarker.

Using with macros:

I use F5 - F12 to mark the mouseover target with the following macro:
/target mouseover
/rmm mark #
/targetlasttarget

"#" is the raid target id number
1: Star - 2: Circle - 3: Diamond - 4: Triangle - 5: Moon - 6: Square - 7: Cross - 8: Skull

more information

RaidMobMarkerHUD:

RaidMobMarkerHUD is a standalone addon and can be used without RaidMobMarker.

The HUD provides a circular window for one-click marking. To display it, use the assigned key (see WoW's keybinding options) or the slash command.

To mark a target with a raid symbol, target the unit, hold down the assigned button or hold down the assigned button and target a unit.
Left-click a symbol and your current target will be marked with it. To unmark the current target simply right-click on a symbol. While holding down the button, the HUD will re-show when you change your target.

Slash commands:

/rmmhud
/rmmhud show shows/hides the HUD (for use with macros)
/rmmhud help displays advanced information

more information

Future:

This project have an intention to save the mark progress and mark automatic repeating groups the same way
+ Silly me, forgot to remove the debug message.
+ Forgot to note...

Description:
--------------------
A lightweight addon to randomize mounts!

The addon is working through macro commands, just like the macro commands used in World of Warcraft you know and love best.

You can use any kind of macro option you know in the options bracket, and it should work just fine just like in the built-in macro commands.

The addon randomize mounts by a given riding skill, and for that I created a special "skill" option that allow you to specify it.

If you're mounted the addon will dismount you the second time you click the macro.

LonnyMountCast has an integrated UI now built atop the default Blizzard Mounts UI that allow you to select the mounts you wish it to randomize.

Select nothing randomizes all mounts for the given riding skill.

Macro Commands
/mount flying/ground-mount; flying/ground-mount
/mountrandom flying/ground-mount; flying/ground-mount

e.g. /mount flying-mount; ground-mount

skill - The option that allow you to specify the kind of mounts you wish to randomize. (Please check the 'Mounts Riding Skill' table below.)

ground-mount - The parameter that is used to randomize ground mounts.

flying-mount - The parameter that is used to randomize flying mounts.

Druids
Cancels the current form and mount.

/cancelform
/mount flying-mount; ground-mount

All in one traveling macro.
A complete traveling macro which uses all forms, and randomizes the ground mounts only. :)

/cast Aquatic Form;Swift Flight Form;Travel Form
/cancelform
/mount ground-mount

Note, apparently there's an issue with this macro in Wintergrasp while there's an active battle, wher...

Change Log:
--------------------
Localized the buff so it should work for all English, Spanish, German and French clients.

Description:
--------------------

What it does:

This addon will display a large warning text and make a distinct sound when the "Horn of Winter" buff fades. The sound and text can be customized through slash commands. Good for raids to remind you to keep up the buff!

Change in 6.0

Localized the buff so it should work for all English, Spanish, German and French clients.

Known Issues:

None as yet. If you find any then please let me know via the comments.

Memory Usage:

On average the addon uses 15KB of memory.

Slash Commands:

Note: /hornofwinter and /how are the exact same. /how is just easier to type.
/hornofwinter - Shows all the slash commands (below) in the chat box
/hornofwinter on - turns the warning message back on
/hornofwinter off - turns the warning off
/hornofwinter where - choose for which zones the addon should be enabled
/hornofwinter text - choose how long the text is shown
/hornofwinter sound - pick a sound
/hornofwinter test - runs a test
/hornofwinter help - get help on how to use the menu

To Do List:

Add on option to keep the warning message on the screen until it is re-buffed.
Make the warning message moveable.
Localize the warning message.
LonnyTooltip 4 (450)

Change Log:
--------------------
450 (16-03-10)
+ Most of the core implementation was replaced with MagicLib to make it overall more efficient.
+ All modules were modified to accommodate the core changes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
430 (12-01-10)
+ All modules are LoD and are being loaded by the core manually to guarantee they are loaded before any other end-user module.
+ The update function was optimized and is idle to 1 sec whenever the cursor is not moving.
+ The layout ripped out of the core to its own module, as it didn't really make sense to have it there, some people don't even want it, and having a module just to get the default tooltip layout is a mistake. :)
+ Removed some unnecessary variables.
+ Fixed some bugs and calculations.

LonnyTooltip_Layout (previously LonnyTooltip_Classic):
+ The classic module was removed.
+ This module is used now to reskin the default tooltip.
+ The LonnyTooltip_ClassColors module was removed and it's part of this module now.

API.
+ (NEW) module:OnTooltipPostShow(tooltip, isGameTooltip) - Fires everytime the GameTooltip:Show() method is executed as well as always after module:OnTooltipsShow(...)

Events.
+ (UPDATED) module:OnUpdate(tooltip, frame, isObj, name, unit, x, y) - Fires every 1 sec, or whenever the mouse position is changed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
420 (10-01-10)
+ There was a bug that broke the tooltip whenever you tried to use a custom backdrop, apparently setting the backdrop OnShow is a bad idea. :p
+ Fixed some stealthing bugs. :)

LonnyTooltip_HealthBar:
+ I forgot to remove the code that changes the texture and apply it in the core.

Events.
+ (UPDATED) module:OnInit(tooltip, statusbar, isGameTooltip, isPlayerLogin) - Fires on PLAYER_LOGIN and PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD. (this fires for every tooltip now, not just the GameTooltip.)

------------------------------------------------------------------------
410 (10-0...

Description:
--------------------
LonnyTooltip is designed to be a lightweight modular tooltip.

The addon doesn't have in-game configuration, and need zero configuration, however if you wish to do so, you can modify the module files that may contain configuration.

To show / hide the mobility frame to move the tooltip around just type /ltt. (Make sure the mobility module is enabled)

Modules

Cursor - Anchors the tooltip to the cursor. (Working only on units or any other world objects.)
Enhanced - Formats the tooltip to be much more detailed and colorful.
Features - Adds some features to the tooltip, such as scaling, fading, anchoring, etc..
HealthBar - Tweaks the original healthbar visual.
HideInCombat - Hides the tooltip in combat.
HideTitles - Hides the players title. (e.g.
of the Shattered Sun)
ItemsQuality - Color the border with the appropriate item quality.
Layout - A basic layout skin for the tooltip.
Mobility - Allow the tooltip to anchor itself to a certain point.
Raid Icons - Show the raid icons in the tooltip.
ShowTargets - Shows the target when hovering players.

Buffoon (v1.2)

Change Log:
--------------------
v1.2 - Cleaning up database initialization
v1.1 -
v1.0 - Initial Release

Description:
--------------------
NAME CHANGE: I have renamed this mod from Buffalo to Buffoon. If you have Buffalo in your addons, please delete it!!!

Buffoon is a buff mod that's inspired by one feature from X-Perl: it shows you who cast what buffs on you, and who's missing it still. Since I recently switched from X-Perl to Shadowed UF, I quickly started missing this feature, so I wrote my own implementation of it. Enjoy!

Commands:
/buffoon {toggle | on | off} -- Turns the addon on and off entirely.
/buffoon {solo | party | raid} -- Solo shows info all the time, party shows only in party or raid, raid shows only in raid.
/buffoon {buffed | unbuffed} -- These two options are NOT mutually exclusive. They make the addon show players that DO or DO NOT also have the buff, respectively.
/buffoon groups -- Toggles between show in groups, and show all together modes when in raid.
/buffoon status -- Shows current setting states

Questions? Comments? Feedback? The comments section is open!

(If you're curious, my buff mod from that screenshot is Simple Buff Bars, and my tooltip is TipTac)

gChat (1.25d)

Change Log:
--------------------
1.25d
- Fixed a bug that broke the ability to type /afk or /dnd. AFK and DND flags should once more be functional.

1.25c
- Rewrote the alias routines, and deactivated it when WIM is loaded. Too hard to work around WIM's complete take-over of whispers

1.25b
- gLib updated to 1.01 to work around some justifyH errors. Changed the manner of a fail-check in gLib:CreateCheckButton() and gLib:CreateText().

1.25
- Bugfix needed on the new alias routines. Apparently Blizzard doesn't send your text to the SendChatMessage() command when it's typed via the editBox, so some major ghettohacks were needed to make it work in most scenarios. Not happy.

1.24
- Dependant on gLib. Code to create UI elements and Interface Options Panel removed, since gLib does this.
- New feature: Added /setmain and /clearalias commands to set and show your main character when playing on your alts

1.23
- Settings should once again be saved between sessions

1.22
- Moved ChatFrameEditBox's gMedia:panel() call to the ADDON_LOADED() event handler
- Changed some values in the gMedia:panel() call to nil
- Fixed a line of text in the options menu that was larger than it should be

1.21
- Added some brackets to faulty truth/false checks
- Fixed a spelling error, probably made some new ones

1.2
- Added a custom EditBox with neon effects. Credits to Mikma.
- Changed Party Leader to Dungeon Guide, added abbreviation
- Added an unholy dependence on gMedia... *gasp*
- Some more stuff I've totally forgotten

1.1
- Changed the colors of all gAddon names
- Added an option to show the bottom arrow when not being at the bottom of a chat frame
- Added the ability to move the chatframe clutter to the right side of the chat frame
- Changed some of the default settings

1.0b2
- Options for showing timestamps and abbreviating channel names now work as intended

1.0b
- Split the options for outlined and shadowed chat for greater customization

Description:
--------------------
This addon is developed for those people that wants a simple mod to manipulate the chatframes to fit their UIs, but don't wish to install major chat addons like Prat or ChatMod. It contains no heavy databases, no highlighting of words, no spamfilters, no nothing.

/gChat
- Opens the main options menu
/setmain (from 1.24)
- Sets your currently logged character as your main character. When you are on other characters from the same server and faction, your main character's name will be displayed in parentheses after your alt's name
/clearalias (from 1.24)
- Clears your main character from the current server and faction. Only your character's name will now be displayed once more
/resetchat
- Resets all settings except the chat alias to default

What does it do?
Hides the buttons and arrows next to the chatframes
Enables the mousewheel to scroll in the chatframes
Enable the use of the arrowkeys in the editbox
Can move the editbox to the top of the chatframe
Can hide the background of the editbox
Abbreviates the channel names
Add timestamp to the chat. Can show seconds
Prevent the chat from fading out
Outlined and shadowed chat to make it easier to read
Neon effect that colors the border of the ChatEditBox in the same color as the chat type. (e.g green for Guild, orange for Raid... etc)

How can I configure it?
Access the options from Options -> Interface -> AddOns -> gChat
Type "/gchat"

What is the name of the UI and Addons in your screenshots?
TukUI

From version 1.2 this addon includes a media library addon called gMedia.
From version 1.24 the function library gLib is also in...

-----------------------------------
Version 3.13

Updated stance, form, and pet button frame detection.

-----------------------...

Description:
--------------------
This addon is able to make suggestions of what spell you may want to cast next by flashing on top of the spell buttons.

If you like this addon, then please favorite it!

This addon has functionality added for Warriors, Hunters, Warlocks and Argent Tournament mounts so far.

Support has been added for the addons: Bartender, Dominos, Extra Bars, nUI and OpenRDX, as well as all other action bar addons that use standard format button frames.

To add code for another class yourself, you may now use the included SpellFlash_TemplateAddon addon as a starting template, and may look at the other addons I have made for the existing class functionality as a reference.

Please let me know what you think! I would appreciate any feedback I can get.

To open the SpellFlash options window, you may use the following slash commands:
/spellflash
/sflash
/sf

I have been trying to use these colors for labeling what kinds of spells are being flashed:
White: Default
Yellow: Limited Time or No Global Cooldown
Purple: AOE or Positional Damage
Blue: AOE Debuff
Orange: Finishing Move
Aqua: Spell Interrupt, Reflect or Dispel
Green: Self Buff or Turn Autocast On
Red: Emergency Mitigation Cooldowns or Turn Autocast Off
Pink: Optional

Will flash a macro if the macro itself is labeled with the desired spell name with the upper case letter F attached to the end of the macro label.
Example: Heroic StrikeF
Example: Commanding ShouF
The spell name must be in the language of the used game client with the capital letter F at the end of it.
If the macro label is renamed,
then you will need to move the macro off of or onto one of the action bars for the change to be detected.
This will not be able to flash more then one spell for each macro since a macro may only have one macro label.

If you have even five or ten dollars to spare, it would mean an awful lot to me and my family.

Toggle anchor - left-click on a timer bar or use options menu
Send time info to BG - ctrl left-click on that timer bar
Hide timer bar (also leaves queue if related) - ctrl, shift, or alt right-click on that timer bar
Target carrier (in WSG or EotS) - left-click on the carrier's display
Send carrier info to BG - ctrl left-click on the carrier's display

Why no auto-release and auto-join?:
I try not to promote bad habits in my mods.
No auto-release because knowing when you should or should not release is a part of being a smart player in battlegrounds. For example, say there is five seconds left to capture blacksmith and you die there. Auto-release will send you to the starting area, but if you wait five seconds, you release to blacksmith graveyard.
Another reason not to use auto-release is to have time to spy on t...

NeedToKnow - Updated! (3.0.2)

Change Log:
--------------------
3.0.2
- Fixed a bug with blink. It defaults to 0.5 alpha and disabled, by the legacy loading code saw the 0.5 and figured it should enable blink. Worked great if you still had old settings, but starting from scratch was a bit of disaster. Sorry new users!

3.0.1
- Fixed a bug with the "Unit" setting from a buff or debuff bar causing other bar types (like spell cooldown)
- Removed the display of charges from buff cooldown bars. Easy enough to put back if people miss it, but it surprised me.
- Fixed a small pef bug: every bar was doing one extra loop checking for the presence of the buff ""
- If the internal buff cooldown was shorter than the duration of the buff, the bar wouldn't disappear (and the spark would go negative)

3.0.0
- Created a "Settings" submenu whose contents depends on the BuffOrDebuff variable. This should allow for more bar types without confusing the menu too much.
- Added new bar type: "internal cooldown" for proc cooldown timers
- Added new bar type: "spell cooldown" for tracking spell and item cooldown timers
- Fixed: Temporary weapon enchants now use a substring search. "Poison" will pick up all rogue poisons. This also fixed a lua error that could occur when watching weapon buffs
- Added: Can show an asterisk when the bar is tracking a spell cast by the player
- Improved: Added a blink enable besides just setting the alpha to 0. The alpha thing confused too many people
- Added more blink options: only in combat, only if boss, and a label for blinking bars

2.8.6
- Improved: Blinking bars try to be a little smarter about when to blink and when to just be hidden. Especially the case of debuff bars blinking when no target.
- Improved: Weapon imbue names now capture (I hope) the full name from the tooltip to compare against. The name to watch for (in the NTK config) is then regarded as a substring search. So you could configure NTK to watch for Poison to catch all poisons.

2.8.5
- Added: Option to show a spell icon to...

Description:
--------------------
NeedToKnow is a light-weight addon to monitor specific buffs, debuffs, and totems of your choosing as timer bars that always appear in a consistent place on your screen in a consistent color. It's especially useful for monitoring frequently used short-duration buffs and debuffs. For example, a rogue could configure NeedToKnow to show timer bars for Slice and Dice, Rupture, and their own stack of Deadly Poison VII. A death knight could use it to track their own diseases on a mob. NeedToKnow also works with procs and on-use trinkets. The number, size, position, and appearance of timer bars are all customizable. Timer bars can be set to a fixed maximum duration so that all spells in that group which will expire at the same time line up vertically.

Please use the Ticket system on CurseForge for bugs and suggestions!

New in latest version (3.0)
- Spell cast and internal buff cooldown timer bars
- Overlay a cast time. For example, easily see when to refresh Vampiric Touch or when there's less Flame Shock than it takes to cast Lava Burst.
- Support for watching totems by name
- Support for temporary weapon enchants

Instructions

General options are available in the Blizzard interface options menu. You can type "/needtoknow" or "/ntk" to lock/unlock the addon. To configure individual bars, right click them while unlocked. Bars work while locked. If you only see full bars that aren't changing in response to anything, they are unlocked! Just type /ntk to lock them and get them working for you.

You can enable more groups of bars by going into the Interface settings off the main menu and choosing the AddOns tab.

When entering your settings, be careful with your spelling and capitalization. Also remember that buffs and debuffs sometimes have different names than the items and abilities that apply them. The Death Knight ability Icy Touch, for exampl...

- Spell cast and internal buff cooldown timers

The Death Knight ability Icy Touch, for example, a...

Description:
--------------------
If no problems are reported, Tidy Plates 5.10 will release on Saturday, March 13th to all official sources.

Tidy Plates ... is a Nameplate API, designed to enhance Blizzard's default nameplates by enabling graphical and functional improvements. The standard package comes with two starter Themes, but many other choices are available.

NEW-ish! Threat Widget:
What is it? This new feature is simply simply a statusbar, drawn from the center-line of the nameplates, which represents your relative threat to that unit...

http://s.wowinterface.com/preview/pvw37579.jpg

What does the bar mean? When the bar extends right and becomes amber, you've got the attention/aggro of the unit; The length of that bar indicates your lead over the next highest threat-holder. If the bar extendeds left, the color will change to cyan, indicating that the unit isn't attacking you. The length of the bar will indicate how far your threat trails behind the top threat-holder. Additionally, if you are NOT the highest threat-holder, the threat widget will tell you who is.

Does it work for every mob? Yes-ish; The widget monitors two sources of threat data: Target unitid, and Mouseover. Your current target will update in real-time. For non-targets, you'll need to mouse-over the unit. When your cursor leaves the unit, the data collection is stopped (because the "mouseover" id changes). After a few seconds of no new data, the widget will hide itself. To make the most of the feature, it's helpful to wave your cursor over the group of mobs during combat, allowing the threat data to be constantly updated.

Does it work on every theme? It can, but the theme author must put the widget in their code. Fou...

Athenes Raid Ignore (1.2)

Change Log:
--------------------
1.2:
- Fixed a bug that appeared sometimes when you received a whisper.

1.1:
- You can click player names in the safe-list to get their name up, instead of having to type the name in, when you want to remove them.
- Safe-list is no longer cap-sensitive.
- Fixed the spam that sometimes appeared when a whisper was ignored.
- Added a "Clear log" button for clearing the log of ignored whispers.

Description:
--------------------
I made this addon by request for a raid leader, who got tired of being spammed by whispers during raid time.
Whenever you are in a raid instance and get a whisper, the addon will check if the sender is in your raid. If not, the whisper will be ignored and the receiver gets a message that you are busy in raid. People in your raid will not be ignored.
All ignored messages will be saved and can be read in the gui ( type /ari )

A few settings can be set aswell:
- Custom auto-reply
- Safe-list everyone in your guild
- Safe-list specific people

Nothing advanced, very lightweight.
